How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, select Cleara, and you can change plans or cancel there. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I restore a purchase?

If you've subscribed before (or on another device signed into the same Apple Account), open the Cleara paywall and tap Restore. Your subscription will be re-activated automatically.

How does the free trial work?

New subscribers get a 7-day free trial on both the monthly and annual plans. You won't be charged if you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends; otherwise the subscription starts automatically at the plan price shown at purchase.

My skin scan isn't working — what can I do?

Skin analysis needs a network connection and a clear, well-lit photo of your face. If a scan fails, check your connection and try again with a front-facing photo in good light. If it keeps failing, email us and we'll take a look.

Where is my data stored?

Your profile, scans, routines, and check-ins are stored locally on your device. Photos and assistant messages are sent to our AI provider only to generate your analysis or response. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my data?

You can edit or delete your profile and any optional medical data inside the app (Profile → Edit Profile). Deleting the app removes all locally stored data from your device. For help with a privacy request, email us.

Is Cleara medical advice?

No. Cleara provides cosmetic skincare guidance only. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for a dermatologist or physician. Always seek professional advice for medical concerns.
